Welcome to the Summer Term!
Our topics this term will be based around 'Technological Advances' and 'Life Skills'.
Our work on Technological Advances this half term will focus on how recent, new and emerging technology has an affect on our daily lives. We will look at modern history of mobile phones over the last 50 years and think about trends in changes of the technology and fashion in phones. Geographically, we will also locate cities around the world which are deemed to be the most technologically advanced, and study the different time zones that they are in. We will link this work to our English book of Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz and design and advertise a new gadget that Alex Rider could use on one of his missions.
PE: This half term, our PE slots are Monday afternoons (tennis) and Wednesday afternoons (cricket for the first 2 weeks then athletics). Children will need to come to school in their PE kits on both of these days. Please ensure that children wear correct approved PE kits which can be found in our school uniform policy. Both sessions are due to take place outdoors on either the school playground or playing fields.
